Privacy Policy

Family Jobs · Last updated: 1 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Alex Gray (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Family Jobs app (“the App”). Questions: alex@deepprofessional.com.

The short version. A parent creates the account. Children do not create accounts, give an email, or set a password — they join with a short code. We collect the minimum needed to run the App. We do not sell data, show ads, or use third-party tracking.

What we collect

From the parent (account holder)

About children (entered by the parent, or on the child’s device)

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, health data, advertising identifiers, or browsing activity. The camera is used only on-device to scan a join-code QR; images are not stored or transmitted.

How we use it

Only to provide the App: run each family’s board, sync between parent and child devices, process the subscription, and (if enabled) send approval notifications.

Who processes data for us

Data is stored on servers located in Asia (Mumbai, India).

Children’s privacy

The App is set up and controlled by a parent or guardian. Children do not provide personal information directly beyond a first name chosen by the parent, and cannot make purchases. To remove a child’s information, contact alex@deepprofessional.com.

Retention & deletion

We keep your family’s data while your account is active. You can delete individual children or content in the App at any time, and delete your entire account (and all associated data) from Family settings → Delete account, or by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact alex@deepprofessional.com.

Security

Access to each family’s data is restricted at the database level, so one family can never see another’s. Sessions are stored securely on-device.

Changes

We’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date if this policy changes.
