Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Family Jobs app (“the App”), provided by Alex Gray (“we”, “us”). By using the App you agree to them.

The account

The App is set up by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the account and for the children they add. Keep your login details secure.

Children

You confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of any child you add, and consent to the App storing the information described in our Privacy Policy for the purpose of running your family’s board.

Subscriptions & billing

• The App offers auto-renewable monthly subscriptions (Solo, Duo, Family tiers).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

Acceptable use

Use the App only for managing chores and pocket money within your family. Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service or access other families’ data.

“Pocket money” is between you and your child

The App helps you track and record pocket money. It does not hold, transfer, or process any real money to or from children. Any actual payment is made by you, outside the App.

Availability & changes

We aim to keep the App working but provide it “as is” without warranty of uninterrupted service. We may update or discontinue features.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
